Welcome House has been a beacon of hope for Kansas City men struggling with addiction since 1971. Under the leadership of Jamie Boyle, a man with lived recovery experience, the organization emphasizes “sobriety with dignity.” This unique approach requires residents to contribute to their recovery through employment and personal accountability. Recently, Welcome House opened a 28,000-square-foot facility, providing 100 beds and comprehensive support services, including counseling, job assistance, and spiritual growth.
