KC Shepherd’s Center adopts and maintains a model of lifecycle needs-driven programs and services that meet the changing multi-faceted needs of older adults as they age, keeping them independent and supported throughout their lives. Engagement of our community’s older adults is core to the work of KC Shepherd’s Center; we intentionally embed the voice of the older adult in every decision we make. Our programs and services are informed directly by our senior-driven advisory and governance structures, and we work to create ongoing opportunities for older adults who have a desire to serve ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
